# What does a chain icon next to a Publisher mean?

A chain icon (example below) indicates that a Publisher is a merged publisher. This is when publishers operating across multiple networks (or have multiple accounts on one network) are merged together within Affluent.   It provides a single aggregated view of how this publisher is performing. Affluent automatically merges some publishers for you but you can manually merge (or un-merge) publishers on your own as well.
